The Vice President, Ambulatory Care and Access Services will provide executive leadership over OHSU Health outpatient operations emphasizing safe, high quality, patient-centered, cost effective and integrated care by collaborating effectively with physician and department leadership. OHSU Ambulatory consists of over 97+ clinical sites across Portland metro and Oregon with annual visit volumes exceeding one million.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President/Chief Ambulatory Officer for OHSU Health, the VP Ambulatory will ensure the successful operation and strategic development of ambulatory clinics, outpatient centers, and other outpatient care facilities across Oregon.
Partnering with the Senior Associate CMO of Ambulatory Practice the Ambulatory Vice President assumes a key leadership role in patient care delivery development, access and operations across the clinical enterprise including OHSU, Doernbecher, Hillsboro Medical Center, Adventist Portland and all outreach sites.
The position requires strong leadership and influence to ensure departments and practice managers alignment with the health system's strategic goals and approved business plans.
