The in-office location provides direct access to managed inventory and supports close coordination with the staff reporting to this role. The OR/MSPU Supply Coordinator is responsible for managing materials, overseeing medical supply inventories, and coordinating vendor relationships to support the highest quality care in a cost-effective manner. This position focuses specifically on disposable supply needs associated with Perioperative (OR) Services and Multi-Specialty Procedure Unit (MSPU) areas. It is distinguished from other Supply Chain roles by its specialized emphasis on surgical supply requirements, as well as the increased complexity and critical impact of the assigned responsibilities.

Experience performing stores and inventory work; AND
Training or experience providing knowledge of inventory control systems, and transportation agencies and shipping methods.
Employee may be exposed to dirty linen while performing duties. The warehouse stocks hazardous items such as IV Fluids, Cidex, etc. which may be handled by employee. Appropriate safety precautions are taken before handling any hazardous/dirty items. In this position, you may be required to work in locations exposed and/or affected by: weather elements including rain, hail, snow, heat, humidity and wind; fluctuating noise levels; dust; vibrations and on occasion wet/slippery areas.
