The Oregon Behavioral Health Coordination Center patient transfer coordinator receives and coordinates all inquiry and placement-based referrals for needing support through OBCC. Maintains on-going communication with involved facilities regarding bed availability, bed placement, and service capacities. Maintains accurate records of referral and admission documentation. Maintains multiple complex processes related to the patient’s county of residence, insurance coverage, and level of care needed in order to accurately support the patient and placement needs.

Four years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
An Associate’s degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
A Bachelor’s degree and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
Note: Successful completion of a formal OHSU Administrative Internship Program will substitute for one year of experience.
