The purpose of this job/position is to function as a member of the Rehabilitation Services patient care team by
providing occupational therapy services with a focus on neurological, orthopeadic and pain population.
Services include but are not limited to ADL training, energy conservation, splint fabrication, exercise, sensory
integrations and perceptual/cognitive training to assist patients in improving their function in work, leisure and
self-care. Therapists evaluate each patient referred, establish treatment goals and objectives, develop and
implement the treatment plan, and assist in the process of obtaining DME, assistive devices and post-therapy
follow-up. Therapists are expected to supervise therapy interns and to assist with other educational and
research activities conducted by the department or the hospital.
Relief employees must be available to work at least four (4) days per pay period as determined according to the department needs

Completion of an occupational therapy educational program that is recognized by the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board
Current American Heart BLS certification
Limited Permit or Oregon occupational therapy license must be obtained at the time of appointment.

Pay Range: $44.91 - $61.65 per hour (Commensurate with qualifications, experience and internal equity)
