• Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide.
• Gain experience in designing, conducting, and interpreting experiments in chemical biology, cell biology, and biochemistry.
• Acquire new knowledge in the fields of ADP-ribosylation and ubiquitylation through conducting research, attending group meetings, and reading the literature.
• Maintain an organized lab notebook.
• Be a responsible lab member by keeping the lab bench and common areas clean and assisting with general reagent preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Enrolled in or on vacation from, or is otherwise registered in, and Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours).

• Undergraduates who are pursuing science majors preferred but not required.
• Basic laboratory skills.

Working hours of this position may vary but are mostly Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 5:00pm, with occasional after hour and weekend work required. Location is the OHSU Marquam Campus in Portland, Oregon. Work is performed in an open lab with a variety of research activity in the general vicinity.
