Flourish Clinic, The Early Assessment & Support Alliance Center for Excellence (EASA C4E)
The Early Assessment & Support Alliance Center for Excellence (EASA C4E) Flourish Clinic will be dedicated to supporting youth who are at-risk for serious mental health conditions as well as young people and their families who have complex medical, developmental, and other needs along with symptoms of psychosis. This clinic is located within Child and Adolescent psychiatry outpatient clinic where a variety of clinicians and trainees engage in evaluation and treatment of youth with mental and behavioral health concerns. This clinic is part of the division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University.
The EASA C4E Flourish Clinic aims to supplement the outstanding community-based care provided in EASA Programs throughout the state of Oregon, with more specific goals of: 1) providing multidisciplinary clinical consultation and 2) studying and implementing best practices in supporting youth at clinical high risk for psychosis (CHRp) well as; 3) those with psychosis co-occurring with medical, developmental, and other phenomena which may complicate care.
The Flourish Clinic includes multidisciplinary team members who provide a youth and family-centered, recovery-oriented care consistent with the vision of the EASA Center for Excellence.
The duties of this position include:
This position will be a full-time child & adolescent psychiatrist who has experience working with children, teens, and transition-age adults. This is a 100% clinical position and responsibilities would be as follows:
Clinical Service (80%): Provide psychiatric assessments and clinical services to youth requiring care. This may include time spent supervising general psychiatry residents and child & adolescent psychiatry fellows in outpatient clinics.
Administrative/Academic Activities (20%): Support administrative work related to clinical service. Participate in scholarly, service, and teaching activities appropriate to rank and experience consistent with the mission and goals of the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the School of Medicine. Such activities include, but are not limited to, scholarly, service, and teaching activities at the department, school, institutional, or national level.

The duties include periodic weekend call coverage of inpatient Consult-Liaison Services and Emergency room, and other activities expected of all physician members of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
