Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide.
Fixed tissue sample processing.
Immunostaining and imaging data collection.
Imaging data processing and quantification.
General lab maintenance, cleaning and organization of materials.
Attendance and presentation at lab meetings, contributions to publications as requested (writing, figures, data), contributions to applications for funding as requested (writing, figures, data).
Required Qualifications
Enrolled in or on vacation from, or is otherwise registered in an Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours).
Preferred Qualifications
Major in Science, Biomedical Engineering.
One year wet lab experience.
Knowledge of bioconjugation, protein purification.
Additional Details
Part-time, approx. 15 - 20 hours per week. Flexible work hours. Able to complete protein bioconjugation, purification and data collection and recording. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
