Endoscopy nurses provide care to patients across the age continuum who need diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures. The endoscopy nurse assists the provider team during endoscopic procedures; provide patient care before, during, and after the procedure; performs procedural sedation; and provides education to patients about treatment. The department is open Monday – Friday 0700 — 1730 with mandatory call on service Monday through Friday 1730 — 0700 and all day on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.

• One to two years of experience working in an endoscopy or procedural area setting
• Experience performing moderate sedation preferred
• Experience performing motility and PH testing procedures preferred
• Experience with gastrointestinal surgery or gastroenterology diseases associated care
