The Admissions Counselor plays a dual role supporting both the outreach and enrollment efforts of the university. This position is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and qualified applicant pool, while also managing the end-to-end application review and processing workflow. Serving as an admissions counselor with a focus on graduate programs, this individual provides personalized guidance to prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.

Four years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
An Associate’s degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
A Bachelor’s degree and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
2–4 of the required years of professional experience should be in college admissions or student services.
Valid Driver’s License
This is a full time, fixed position, with hours typically between 8:00am - 5:00pm. Some early morning, evening, and weekend hours will be required. This person will travel as a representative of the School of Nursing. This person will work in a shared office space and have a work station that is placed in a high traffic area. Office noise and interruptions from internal and external audiences including multiple phone lines, visitors, and activities directly outside of the office will be frequent. Professional Dress - This unit has a professional dress code and all members are expected to dress in attire appropriate to the work place. Unit members may be required to wear an institutional logo'd shirt/polo during institutional specific events.
