The purpose of this position is to assist in the management of the Hospital Transportation Department and Equipment Pool Services. Position is responsible hiring, training, and performance management of Transportation, Equipment Pool Technicians and SPM staff. Position is responsible for establishing quality and productivity metrics and for measuring, monitoring, and reporting outcomes. Responsible for operational oversight of electronic VIP transportation dispatch system, including application upgrades, training, and implementation.
3 years’ experience with a HS diploma: High school diploma/GED plus 3 years of work experience in any combination of healthcare, project management, quality improvement, clinical field, or equivalent experience; 2 of those years must include 2 years lead or supervisory experience.
Two years of work experience in a management or leadership position.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Demonstrated written and verbal proficiency with English language.
Monday – Friday; occasional weekends and holidays, as required;
