The Finance and Treasury department is responsible for the overall management, reporting, analysis, and interpretation of the institution's financial positions. It includes the following divisions: Administration, Financial Management, Budget and Finance, and Treasury.
This Financial Analyst is part of a Finance Hub that provides guidance and support to departments across Central Administration. This role prepares and analyzes financial reports at multiple organizational levels, including actuals, budgets, and forecasts. The position leads financial review processes and presents insights to department leadership. Key responsibilities include developing and researching variance analyses, providing clear explanations of financial performance on monthly and annual bases, and delivering actionable recommendations to support operating budgets and capital investments. This role closely partners with budget managers and stakeholders across the institution to support informed decision-making. Due to the sensitive nature of finance, this position requires the ability to manage confidential information and communicate appropriately with authorized stakeholders.
Perform monthly, annual, & ad hoc financial analysis of Operating Accounts
Financial analysis using data queries
Support and monitor procurement activities
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to self-motivate, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to achieve successful results without constant supervision.
Skills to communicate with tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships with all different levels within the organization.
Proficient with computers running Windows and PC applications (e.g. MS Excel, Oracle, Access, Word and PowerPoint).
