This position is under the supervision of the Chair of the Department of Neurology. The duties of this position are in support of the mission goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine.
The primary responsibility is to maintain a funded research program. Responsibilities will include provision of clinical care in the Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders clinic, attending on the OHSU general inpatient/consult neurology service and performing occasional teaching and administrative duties mutually agreed upon with the Chair of the Department of Neurology. The duties consist of the following:
Research Responsibilities: Maintain your established research laboratory program and fulfill the obligations of your K08 & other awards while seeking additional external grant support.
Clinical Responsibilities: You will provide clinical care one (1) half-day per week in the OHSU Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Clinic; serve as attending on the OHSU general neurology inpatient/consult service as agreed upon with Chair.
Academic responsibilities: You will teach graduate students, medical students, residents and fellows consistent with the goals of your research program, clinical duties and position as a faculty member within the Department of Neurology.
Qualifications: MD, PhD., Board Certification
