We're looking for an experienced coding leader who enjoys helping people grow, solving operational challenges, and bringing teams together. As Enterprise Coding Manager, you will support professional coding teams and the Coder Auditor/Trainer team across OHSU. Your leadership will help strengthen coding accuracy, compliance, education, and day-to-day performance.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead coding operations across a diverse, multi-specialty academic health system. You will work closely with coding leaders, coders, auditors, trainers, providers, and revenue cycle partners to make sure teams have the support, tools, and education they need to do their best work.
You will balance the needs of daily operations with longer-term work to improve quality, build staff skills, strengthen compliance, and create more consistent processes across Enterprise Coding.

What You Bring
You are an approachable, experienced leader with a strong background in multi-specialty professional coding. You know how to set clear expectations, support people through challenges, and build strong working relationships. You are comfortable moving between day-to-day operational needs and broader work involving quality, education, compliance, and staff development.
You use data and feedback to understand what is working, where support is needed, and how to make improvements that last. Most importantly, you care about helping people succeed and creating an environment where teams can learn, collaborate, and do high-quality work.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
Knowledge of CMS and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage staff performance and workflows.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Knowledge of revenue cycle operations.
Ability to effectively problem solve and mitigate complex coding scenarios.
