This position functions in the role of a MRI Technologist in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. The MRI Technologist performs MRI examinations following protocols under the direct or indirect supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, Lead Technologist, Radiologists, Residents, or Clinical Physicians.The MRI Technologist promotes OHSU’s mission statement by delivering high quality, cost effective, family-oriented service. This position helps to create a collaborative environment by integrating education, research and clinical leadership. MRI Technologists work with infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
This position will take place across multiple locations within the department. Relief employees must be available to work at least four (4) days per pay period as determined according to the department needs

This position works in a busy environment with frequent interruptions, multiple demands and continuous
interaction with patients and other medical professionals. It requires being exposed to noise, chemical
solutions and human tissue/fluids. The locations include Marquam Hill, South Waterfront, and Beaverton.
