Patient management - Responsible for coordinating and managing the non-nurse aspects of the patient's clincal care process. Reviews the plan of care to ensure it is being executed correctly. The position involves working on research projects in the Balance Disorders Laboratory, related to quantitative assessment of cortical activity during gait in people with Parkinson’s disease under various conditions (Off and On medication as well as with cueing). The person will work independently and be instrumental in study design, data collection, and analysis, as well as writing of manuscripts and presentation of results at conferences. The position also requires supervision of research assistants and summer undergraduate/high school students working on these projects, and collaboration with clinical investigators in the Neurology Department.
