Radiographic Procedures: Performs bone mineral radiography measurements in a clinical environment. These procedures include routine and special bone density radiographs. Bone Density Technologists work with adult and geriatric patients with varying degrees of mobility. Optimizes technique for each image during the examination to obtain the highest quality study with the most comfort to the patient. Provides optimal quality to acquire images, using technical skills and knowledge of equipment. Recognizes and reports significant situations relating to patient care.
