The Cardiovascular Device RN is a registered nurse who is independently accountable for the effective management and coordination of care of patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED), pacemakers, ICD, and Implantable Loop Recorders. The RN will partner with the Electrophysiology (EP) team and other clinical staff throughout OHSU to coordinate the care of cardiovascular patients with CIEDs. The RN will coordinate care in the outpatient setting for long term in person and remote monitoring. The RN will provide and improve quality patient outcomes for the patient and families for the Cardiology Clinic in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Behavioral testing of mice using a variety of assays including, but not limited to, measuring locomotor activity, motor coordination, body temperature, 2- and 4-bottle choice drinking, single bottle limited access drinking, operant self-administration, drug conditioned place preference, drug conditioned taste aversion, cognitive testing, and other behavioral assays, as dictated by the research aims. Patient Observation:
- NDAs observe and monitor patients within the EMU. Continuously monitors patients undergoing vEEG recording for safety, either in room or via remote video monitoring.
