The Department of Oral Rehabilitation & Biosciences is seeking a Research Assistant 2 with Bachelor's Degree (4 yr) with major courses in field of research OR Associate's (2 yr) and 3 years of relevant experience to begin immediately. The candidate will perform research in-line with the goals of the principal investigator, Stephanie Momeni, Ph.D, MBA, PMP. The research group is dynamic, vibrant, funded by the NIH/NIDCR, and leverages microbiology and bioinformatics to discover how the bacteria living in the human oral cavity impact health and disease. - Work on research experiments relating to the Cell Fusion project or Stem Cell investigations as assigned by Dr. Melissa Wong. These studies will include a variety of technical approaches including: cell culture, live-cell imaging, FACS and characterization of cell phenotypes, as well as murine intestinal stem cell analyses in tissue or cell culture.
