- Duties for device development involve assisting engineers and clinicians in device validation testing and assisting in preparation of FDA applications. This entails working extensively with diabetes technology and our custom smart phone diabetes management software applications.
- Duties for clinical studies involve recruiting and screening subjects, managing study supplies, prepping devices for studies, scheduling and running of study visits, handling of subject samples and preparing for lab analysis, performing data analysis of study data, and attending staff meetings.

This position will support the Wilder Lab in a wide array of research tasks, including performing all aspects of mosquito rearing in the insectary, quantifying parasitemia from non-human primates by microscopy and PCR, infecting and dissecting mosquitoes, assisting with mouse research, performing ELISA assays to characterize antibody responses, and cell culture/tissue processing. Additional duties include maintaining clear and accurate laboratory records, analyzing data and preparing data for presentation, attending lab meetings and journal clubs, and ordering reagents.
