The IDR NHP Senior Research Project Manager is responsible for supervision, coordination and support of ongoing and newly funded infectious disease and related research studies using non-human primates for the ONPRC. Specifically, the person in this role is responsible for coordinating NHP research protocols with Principle Investigators from OHSU, ONPRC, VGTI and outside institutions. In conjunction with the IDR Director and ONPRC veterinary staff, the NHP Senior Research Project manager coordinates research protocols to ensure research specimens are collected, processed, and preserved in compliance with animal welfare regulations. As a Senior Research Project Manager in this position, there is an increased responsibility for managing IDR staff which includes: coordinating and/or performing training, scheduling IDR staff and protocol procedures, and coordinating animal sampling with other research investigators. The Knight Cancer Institute Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research Center (CEDAR) at Oregon Health & Science University seeks an experienced Computational Biologist Level 1 or 2 who will develop custom computational methods, including construction of analytic pipelines and implementation of sophisticated statistical techniques to analyze spatial imaging data relevant to cancer biology and early detection. The position will enjoy unique exposure and access to single cell multiplex imaging data sets and single-cell transcriptomic data as a member of CEDAR¿s collaborative spatial imaging team, but no prior experience in image analysis specifically is required for this position.   The ideal candidate will have experience with analysis of `omic data (genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic etc.), particularly for target or biomarker discovery, experience in implementing statistical methods as appropriate for dataset treatment (e.g. quality inspection, normalization, differential feature detection, etc.), and experience in developing pipelines to support analytics as described to additionally facilitate improved data management, and to generate complete workflows that are reproducible and scalable. Experience with or knowledge regarding single-cell data and/or machine learning would be a bonus but is NOT required and should not be a deterrence from applying.   You will be part of multidisciplinary project-based teams developing novel approaches for the early detection of cancer. Clinical Activities (not related to teaching or research): This position works with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to gynecologic oncology patients. - The primary duties include direct patient care in the ambulatory setting, providing care for gynecologic oncology patients. The spectrum of care includes office procedures, colposcopy, vulvar biopsy, complex dysplasia management, and basic well woman care.   - This APP is expected to collaborate with multiple OHSU departments in the care of patients, including radiation oncology, surgical oncology, urology, pharmacy, palliative care. Gynecologic clinic procedures done by the APP may include colposcopy, vulvar biopsy, and basic well woman care.  If needed, training can be provided. Clinical activities will take place primarily at OHSU and Adventist. Scholarly Activities (research/writing, abstracts, grant supported work, presentations, etc.): Like all OHSU faculty members, advanced practice providers are expected to have some scholarly activity, this may be limited to educating learners as outlined below, but may also include research, and other grant supported work or academic papers and presentations in disciplines related to their field of expertise. APP faculty members are expected to participate in clinical research as needed, often with the help of trained research support staff and senior faculty principal investigators.    Education (include types of teaching and types of student taught): This position provides clinical education to fellows, residents, and medical students participating in OB/GYN rotations. As part of the multidisciplinary team charged with educating learners in the gynecologic oncology environment this person would be expected to provide feedback and evaluation, both formally and informally, of learners working in gynecologic oncology. This faculty member will provide education and feedback to students and trainees. This person would also be expected to provide feedback and guidance in the development and implementation of an anticipated Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship program.    Administrative Activities: As an OHSU faculty member, this position will be required to participate in faculty meetings at the division and department level. All faculty members are expected to aid the division head and department chair in providing direction to the division and the department both on a day to day basis and as part of ongoing strategic planning and strategic planning.   Other Activities: APP faculty members may be called upon to serve on OHSU committees and in other activities as directed by the department chair or division head in furtherance of division, department, or OHSU goals and objectives.

Responsible for the general cleaning of both patient and non-patient care areas such as office and bathrooms in the hospital and clinics. - Cleaning and Sanitizing: - Cleans and sanitizes all surfaces and floors in patient rooms, clinical areas, support space, public areas, office space, and restrooms to include mopping, sweeping, vaccuuming, spot cleaning carpets, dust moping, wet mopping, damp wiping, high dusting; - Cleans and sanitizes equipment, including beds, stretchers, and bassinets; uses chemical cleaners and disinfectants. - May clean and sanitize all surfaces and floors in OR’s, intensive care units, high risk patient areas, patient rooms, clinical areas, support space, public areas, office space, and restrooms. - Waste Removal: - Collects trash, linen, and trash carts; - Empties and cleans trash bins; - Operates trash compactor and waste sterilization equipment. - Equipment & Furniture Cleaning: - Makes beds, bassinets, cribs, and stretchers; - Moves beds, furniture, and other equipment for cleaning; operates EVS cleaning equipment. - Supplies and Restocking: - Stocks EVS closets and carts; replenishes dispensers (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, alcohol based hand sanitizer, disposable seat covers). - Customer Service & Patient Experience: - Responds to patient requests in a customer-focused and timely manner; - Effectively utilizes I CARE and other patient experience tools for patient experience.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will be providing massage therapy to customers for remedial and relaxation purposes.   Typical duties and responsibilities will consist of:   Massage - Performs massage therapy techniques to control pain, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. - Confers with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful. - Applies finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body. - Massages and kneads the muscles and soft tissues of the human body in order to provide courses of treatment for medical conditions and injuries or wellness maintenance. - Prepares and blend soils, and applies the blends to clients' skin. - Provides clients with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement, and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises. - Assesses clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion. Develops and proposes client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used. Refers clients to other types of therapists when necessary. - Uses complementary aids, such as infrared lamps, wet compresses, ice, and whirlpool baths in order to promote clients' recovery, relaxation and well-being. - Consults with other health care professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians and psychologists in order to develop treatment plans for clients. Administrative: - Obtains the basic medical history for a client, assesses any problems or conditions, and suggests appropriate massage techniques based on current health of client. - Maintain treatment records.

As a Certified Personal Trainer, you will provide a safe, enriching environment while building meaningful relationships with wellness center members. Provide testing and assessment using a variety of protocols. Designs, prescribes, and implements personalized fitness programs, and instructs members on proper exercise.   Typical duties and responsibilities will consist of: - Providing personal training service by developing exercise prescriptions and programs for members on a one-on-one basis. Prescribes flexibility, cardiovascular, and strength training exercises to assist members in goal achievement. Maintains member information and tracking. Builds a repeat clientele and recruits new clientele. - Take heart rates and blood pressures as needed. Evaluates, corrects, and instructs members on proper exercise techniques. Proactively provides appropriate direction to members performing dangerous or harmful exercises. Maintains a safe and clean environment for members. - Performs health appraisals using approved protocols. Provides facility orientations. - Responds to all emergencies.

As a Certified Fitness Instructor, you will teach all aspects of group exercise instruction including safe and effective low/high, including combo, step, water fitness, kickboxing, cardio sculpt, yoga, innergystics and conditioning classes for all levels   Typical duties and responsibilities will consist of:   Designs/Teaches Class - Designs routines and combinations, to include proper warm up, cardiovascular, cool down and toning segments. - Designs and teaches all classes with the participants’ safety and fitness levels in mind. Class topics include: basic exercise physiology, anatomy, choreography, muscular conditioning, injury prevention and weight control. Records keeping - Tracks class participation statistics for aerobic classes, pool use and multi-purpose room use. Room Setup/Cleanup - Sets up rooms with appropriate training apparatus; including stereo and microphone equipment if appropriate. Maintains a clean, safe workout environment. Cleans up room and equipment after class.

The duties of this faculty clinician position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: - Care of patients with breast cancer; - Clinical trials participation and development, if interested; - Establish and maintain a program of scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes; - Participate in administrative committees and councils of OHSU, as approved by the Chair and Division Head; - Participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; - Engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head. It is anticipated a clinical faculty position will be made up of the following components: Clinical, Teaching Research/Academic, and Service. Academic rank will be based on qualifications.

Assist physicians and RN with GI diagnostic and therapeutic procedures - Prepare rooms with appropriate supplies and equipment for all assigned procedures. - Assist physician to obtain specimens. Appropriately preserve, label, and dispatch specimens to lab. - Manipulates equipment during procedure as requested by the physician. - Collaborates with endoscopy team to assist with successfulprocedure. - Identify and report to physician/RN any change in patient condition or complication of procedure. - Assists with trouble shooting GI equipment such as but not limited to: scopes, monitors, video equipment, cautery equipment. - Documents data as appropriate in medical record and records supplies used and patient charges. - Provide fundamental components of patient care. - Provide on call support for procedures after hours and on weekends on a rotational basis. Patient care - Provide patients with appropriate pre procedural education including answering questions regarding proper procedure preparation (in person or via telephone). - Answers patient questions - as deemed appropriate for scope of practice including preparation required for procedure. Equipment and Supplies - Clean and disinfect scopes according to unit policies and procedure. - Maintain equipment in proper working order. Inspect scopes for damage and protect to avoid damage during handling and cleaning. - Report malfunctioning equipment immediately to charge nurse or manager. - Send out equipment for repair or work with clinical engineering personnel to trouble shoot equipment or bring in appropriate repair technicians. - Stock rooms with equipment and supplies. - Monitor rooms/carts for outdated supplies - Monitor supplies for outdate and communicate with materials manager regarding inventory needs and reorder consumable supplies as assigned by management. - Document appropriately on stent logs and cleaning logs - Perform routine equipment/eyewash/refrigerator checks and document to maintain compliance. - Prepares supplies for autoclaving, receives instruments from sterile processing - Is the unit expert on endoscopy supplies/instruments/tools and how they are used and maintained on the unit. Acts as mentor towards others who need to learn about these items. Coordinate Activities - Accomplish caseload assignments in a timely manner - Communicate throughout procedure with provider and RN/ CRNA. - Productively utilize unassigned time. - Complete projects as assigned by management - Participate in area specific continuous quality improvement program. - Participate in orientation and in teaching area specific skills.

The OHSU Center for Mental Health Innovation (CMHI), under the directorship of Drs. Bonnie Nagel and Joel Nigg, has an opening starting April 1, 2024 for a highly motivated Research Project Manager to support a large, new, 5-year multi-site study aimed at refining our ability to predict childhood psychopathology (e.g., ADHD, depression, suicide) and prognosis using existing datasets, combining behavioral, demographic, healthcare record, and cognitive data, and then testing our predictive algorithms in patients across 5 clinical sites against gold-standard. The Research Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating research activities, meetings, communication, documents, and record archiving across the five study sites; will oversee the set-up of all day-to-day study activities, including ensuring protocol integrity across the data collection sites, managing central institutional review board (IRB) submissions and approval and engaging other study sites to that end, REDCap (or other platform) survey set-up and maintenance (in collaboration with technical staff on the grant), oversight of study staff engaging in OHSU patient participant recruitment, enrollment, and payment, OHSU patient data collection and follow-up contact, EPIC data extraction at OHSU, and database management procedures in collaboration with study staff. This individual will interact with the PIs, and onsite and offsite Co-Is on a regular basis to obtain and to provide updates on progress and ensure milestones are being met.The incumbent will also coordinate with the CMHI data analytic core, ensuring appropriate regulatory procedures are followed, including adhering to university IRB and Federal data sharing and privacy mandates.   Overall, the Project Coordinator will promote the mission of the CMHI by exhibiting dependability, productivity, professionalism, accuracy, timeliness and responsivity, problem-solving, strong ethical and inclusive understanding of our innovative mental health focus, as well as compassion, kindness, and clarity when communicating verbally or in writing with research participants, volunteers, outside organizations and stakeholders, outside faculty and staff, and OHSU faculty and staff.   Through careful examination of our biases and conscious changes to our practices, in conjunction with intentional learning and strategic initiatives, we are committed to fostering an anti-racist, inclusive, equitable and welcoming climate for all faculty, students, staff, and research participants.
