The purpose of this full-time position to assist with NIH-funded projects that aim to discover the genes that support rapid forms of synaptic plasticity, and determine how plasticity supports cognitive processing in the brain. The Jackman lab employs cutting-edge techniques to measure and manipulate brain activity in vivo, to record synaptic transmission in ex vivo tissue, and to evaluate animal behavior.
