- With the ECO, serve as a point of contact for researchers, staff, and internal and external stakeholders to perform independent, accurate and timely management of submissions/transactions/inquiries. Provide subject matter expertise on existing and potential export control and compliance issues. - Assist in reviewing activities as needed and providing related determinations. The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve clinical care goals.  Our practice also includes innovative models for delivering structured care to populations of patients with chronic conditions. Candidates with an interest in and experience with chronic care models of health care, coordination of care of complex patients in various settings, and continuous practice improvement will receive priority consideration. Our practice is recognized by the State of Oregon as a Tier 4 Patient Centered Primary Care Home and a Comprehensive Primary Care Plus clinic site.    This position will include continuity ambulatory practice and potentially interim care for the practice. Clinical care duties will be the equivalent of 7 half days per week.  Evening clinic hours will be expected at a 1-2 days a week.  Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in our practice is essential. Inpatient work will be assigned as available at OHSU or its partner institutions.   Faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and each other. Opportunities for teaching abound and participation is encouraged and valued. The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship, as directed by his or her department. Compensation for this position will include a base academic salary, paid through the academic department, plus a clinical salary from an incentive system based on the success and productivity for their clinical work at OHSU campus, as well as personal initiative.

- Rounds regularly, 3 times per 8 hour shift, to inpatient ICU floors. Collaborates with clinical staff to assess patient needs before each task (lift or reposition), including type of lift to be performed, condition of patient, and state of patient’s physical disability. Responds to requests via Vocera, pagers or through the Transportation Dispatch. - Participates in MTP’s on the highest priority basis. Responds promptly to the Transportation Dispatchers directives. Maintains continual communication with dispatcher using Vocera and face-to-face communication with MTP clinical personnel. To ensure timeliness of this service, the following must be observed: use of elevators is not permissible and the first response must occur within 30 seconds of pager notification. - Transports patients using wheelchair, stretcher, hospital bed, and morgue cart to and from various locations include, but not limited to: nursing units, diagnostics, pre-op, life flight pad and morgue. Transfer patients to and from stretcher, hospital bed, exam table and wheelchair using transportation-assist devices such as Hovermatts, Slipps, slider boards and backboards. - Transports medical equipment, mail, labs, blood products and supplies to and from various locations within the OHSU environment. The purposes of these roles are to: - Provide clinical management of patients in Hematology & Medical Oncology; - Assure a coordinated, effective, high quality, and efficient care process; - Use an interdisciplinary team approach to the care of patients; - Work collaboratively with clinic management on process improvement projects; - Provide education to colleagues, staff and students, as needed. Positions are available in the following areas. You will be asked within the application process to indicate which position(s) you are applying for or are most interested in.   CHH2 Infusion Unit: Summary: This APP will provide oversight of the infusion unit, responding to acute infusion reactions and urgent medical issues. Additionally, they will see up to four same day/scheduled patients in our infusion clinic. Schedule: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, weekdays, weekend, and holidays included.   Outpatient Genitourinary (GU) APP: The GU APP manages patient care for genitourinary cancers which include the following: Prostate, renal cell carcinoma, bladder, testicular, and penile cancers. Treatments for these various cancer types have a broad range including hormonal therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, oral targeted therapies, and radio pharmaceuticals. The APP is also responsible for managing side effects from treatments and seeing patients on clinical trials. This APP will also attend research meetings to discuss trials and clinical trial patient related issues. Additionally, this APP may intermittently provide oversight of the infusion unit, responding to acute infusion reactions and urgent medical issues.   Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week. Schedule to be determined upon hiring.     Outpatient APP with focus in gastrointestinal (GI) oncology :  We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our GI Oncology team. This vital role involves providing specialized healthcare to patients with gastrointestinal cancers and collaborating closely with a team of oncologists and other medical professionals. This is an outpatient position in a clinic on the South Waterfront of OHSU campus. The position would be for clinic coverage 4 days per week (schedule to be decided depending on clinic need at time of hire) with 10% of time devoted to involvement in clinical research. This is part of a growing clinic that involves multiple GI oncologists and two other advanced practice providers.   Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations - Develop and implement patient-centric treatment plans under oncologist supervision - Educate patients and families about treatments and care strategies - Coordinate patient care across various services - Manage follow-up care and monitor therapy side effects - Participate in team discussions about patient treatment options - Stay updated with the latest GI oncology advancements - Triaging and managing patient’s symptom or care coordination questions by phone or MyChart message - See maximum 12 patients per day, generally 30 minute visits Prior experience in oncology or gastroenterology is preferred.    Outpatient APP with focus in BMT:    *If  interested in this BMT APP position, please visit Req 2023-26436 for more information and to apply.*   The OHSU Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program is a large program experiencing significant growth and is pursuing the recruitment of APPs with a record of providing high quality clinical care. Schedule: Four clinic days per week, between Monday - Friday. Occasional weekend/additional coverage required.

This position is responsible for complex premise distribution systems, which encompass the entire OHSU campus, HMC/Tuality & Adventist and over a dozen off campus clinics as well.  This includes vertical and horizontal copper and optical fiber distribution facilities and equipment for analog and digital communications, computer, Audiovisual Systems, “DAS” Distributed Antenna Systems, alarm circuits, and sensory services. Responsible for first-level restoration of services in response to end user or system problems reported and or observed and compliance with all FCC and State electrical codes, including EIA/TIA and BICSI standards and guidelines.  Utilizes technical equipment for trouble resolution.  Technicians must be able to work with a minimum of supervision. ITG is a 24x7 work group; this position is required to be on a rotational on-call schedule.

As a member of the Department of Neurology, this Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will report to the Section Head for Sleep Medicine.   Responsibilities will include:  100% Clinical – work as a clinician within Neurology Department in the Sleep Medicine Clinic; expected to conduct 8, 4-hour clinic sessions/week.     - Evaluate and treat patients with sleep disorders, primarily obstructive sleep apnea as well as other conditions such as insomnia, hypersomnia disorders, and restless leg syndrome. - Recommend adjustments of CPAP and other PAP (positive airway pressure) devices to patients. - Provide support/suggestions to assist patients with therapy compliance. - Help create and develop a stimulator implant program, as well as provide post-implantation follow-up care - Work jointly as a team with our MDs, APPs, technologist, and support staff. - Educate patients and empower them to participate in their treatment plans. - Attend department and section meetings as recommended by the Medical Director.   As a teaching facility, the APP is expected to teach medical students and residents in the clinical setting as well as through assigned lectures to be given during the course of the year, per supervisor approval.  Participate in the department needs in area of expertise, attend meetings, serve on committees as directed.

Maintenance Management and Reporting - Develop and maintain accurate picture of regulatory compliance. Report up deficiency to Director of Facilities and Campus Planning.. - Continuously be prepared to provide documentation and answer questions for the authority having jurisdiction (i.e. DNV) for regulatory compliance Continuous Process Improvement - Suggests, promotes and sustains process improvement initiatives throughout all levels of the department. Looks for opportunities to learn new techniques and methods that will improve efficiency and quality.
