The Psychiatric Clinic Director is responsible for all activities falling under the Intercultural Psychiatric Program (IPP). The IPP is the region’s premiere behavioral health clinic for refugee and immigrant services. This position is in charge of making sure that the behavioral health care provided at this clinic meets and exceeds the standard of care for the community, and is in line with evidence-based care.
This position deals with many different funding sources, including but not limited to contracts with CCOs, grants for refugee services and foundation funding. Also works with an administrative team consisting of a faculty practice manager, a clinical supervisor and a Director of Clinical Operations for the Department of Psychiatry, as well as the larger Department administrative services. This position includes an academic appointment with the Department of Surgery in the OHSU School of Medicine and will be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the Department of Surgery, including participation in Department of Surgery teaching conferences, Grand Rounds, and the education of students, residents and fellows. The primary focus of the Head of the Division of Endodontology is to provide leadership for the education of predoctoral and graduate dental students in Endodontology. This faculty member will serve a dual role as the Program Director for the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics, providing direct oversight and direction for the specialty program.
The Division Head collaborates with the Department Chair, the Senior Associate Deans for Academic and Clinical Systems in the development and implementation of curriculum, operation and oversight of the Graduate Endodontic Practice, and management of Division and Program budgets. The Head leads in process improvement and ensures compliance to the policies and procedures of the School of Dentistry (SOD), Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA), and the Northwest Commission of Colleges and University (NWCCU). The Head collaborates with the Dean of the SOD and the OHSU Foundation to manage and grow alumni philanthropy.
This position directly supervises faculty in the Predoctoral and Advanced Education Program, full-time and part-time. The position is supported by an Administrative Coordinator. This faculty member is expected to conduct research, participate in research, and oversee and mentor research of the Advanced Education students in Endodontics. This position reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Systems within the School of Dentistry and is academically housed within the Department of Restorative Dentistry. The general pattern of working hours corresponds with scheduled clinic hours, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Deviations from this pattern may be necessary at times.

The mission of the Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship Program is to develop expert clinicians and leaders by providing advanced training in the perioperative management of patients with complex neurologic pathologies in a learning atmosphere that nurtures intellectual curiosity and innovation.
The program is designed to offer 12 months of post-residency clinical subspecialty anesthesia training for adults with intracranial masses, neurovascular pathologies, and spine pathologies in diverse settings including the operating room, MRI hybrid suite, and interventional radiology suite. The fellow will have the opportunity to team up with a cohort of people across multiple disciplines, including neurosurgeons, neurologists, and intraoperative monitoring technicians to provide advanced subspecialty care in a variety of craniotomy approaches including awake craniotomies. The fellow will also have dedicated rotations in the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit as well as opportunities to supplement their education with electives in neuroradiology, pediatric neuroanesthesia, and intraoperative encephalography.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the Pediatric Nephrology Division. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides collaborative and multidisciplinary care of children and adolescence in Pediatric Nephrology with a team of seven attending physicians. The APP will provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The service responsibilities include rounding on outpatient dialysis patients, co-managing renal transplant patients in the renal transplant clinic, attending in the pediatric nephrology outpatients, and managing the 24-hour blood pressure program.

PATIENT CARE
- Perform pre-procedural sedation risk assessment on surgical patients
- Including, but not limited to, carpal tunnel release, D&C, D&E, and dental procedures referred for moderate sedation.
- Collaborate with other members of the team regarding pre-procedural instructions, medication management, and patient education.
- Function independently but also work in close collaboration with providers from other departments (OBGYN, anesthesiology, internal medicine, etc.) to coordinate medical optimization of the patient prior to procedure.
- This includes but is not limited to following up on lab tests, cardiac testing, referrals to other specialties and documenting plan of care in EMR.
- Communicate with the surgical team (surgeons, surgery schedulers) when necessary to share concerns about patient readiness for scheduled moderate sedation surgeries.
- Ensure timely, focused documentation and communication with the referring surgeon and PCP when appropriate to ensure quality patient care are expected.
- Review the patient’s history, via patient’s verbal report and the review of previous medical records from internal and external sources, and perform a complete physical exam on each patient.
- Provide consistent patient education about good preparation for procedure.
- Documentation in the EMR of the clinical assessment will be executed according to documentation standards for licensed providers at OHSU.
- Chart documentation will be accurate and timely. Perform peer reviews on a yearly basis including peer chart audits.
- The medical director will review peer chart audits and provide the APPs with feedback about documentation completeness.
- Charts will be forwarded to coding professionals for billing.
- All encounters will be closed by the end of the work day and submitted for billing within 24 hours of each patient encounter.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
- The APP will attend quarterly AST QI meetings.
- May be asked to participate in special projects as assigned by the medical director and/or clinic manager.
- The focus on these projects may include but will not be limited to improving quality of patient care, procedural workflow, diversity/equity/inclusion efforts and/or customer service.

To provide intra-operative technical assistance to physicians and RN's who care for pediatric patients experiencing a surgical intervention/other invasive procedure. To participate actively in the work of the unit, committee work, and program level activities/projects. The role requires completion of annual clinical competencies, attending staff meetings and educational events during the day, and actively participating in all quality improvement opportunities assigned. The role requires that all policies, procedures, and patient safety initiatives will be followed.
Surgical Technologists are an integral part of the team providing surgical care to patients. Surgical Technologists function in the role of scrub person. Surgical Technologists work under the supervision of the surgeon and the R.N. to ensure that the O.R. environment is safe, equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Must possess expertise in the theory and application of surgical technique, human anatomy, and surgical procedures, implementation of tools and technologies to facilitate safe care of the patient during invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. The surgical technologist role requires extended periods of standing, lifting heavy instrumentation, and potential exposure to Blood Borne Pathogens.
- Lecture capture services. Under the direction of their manager and in collaboration with others, the employee will be responsible for key multimedia production services, including, but not limited to:
- Lecture capture of educational courses. Echo360 is a lecture capture system integrated into many conference rooms and classrooms at OHSU. The employee must have and/or gain knowledge of using this system, from scheduling and recording to delivery and troubleshooting. This includes the HW-based appliance and the SW-based Universal Capture options.
- Administration of Echo360 and lecture capture documentation as needed.
- Video recording services. Under the direction of their manager and in collaboration with others, the employee will be responsible for key multimedia production services, including, but not limited to:
- Video recording of specific, recurring events. This is more of a camera operator role to support video recording of classroom and conference room events. The employee must be able to understand the scope of the request, advise that the appropriate staff and equipment have been assigned for the appropriate length of time and delivery output, and perform the necessary recording, editing and media outputs to complete the defined assignment. Equipment will include both built-in and field pack camera equipment.
- Administration of camera equipment and recording documentation as needed.
- Video and web conferencing services (VCS). Under the direction of their manager and in collaboration with others, the employee will be responsible for key VCS services, including, but not limited to:
- Facilitation of customer requests for VCS services. This includes customer communication to define and confirm the scope of work, identify staff and equipment needs, perform pre-call testing as appropriate, provide on-site set-up and establish the connection, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Administration of VCS systems and documentation as needed.
- Event audio/visual support. Under the direction of their manager and in collaboration with others, the employee will provide A/V support assistance for events held in classrooms, conference rooms, lecture halls, and event spaces on the OHSU campus.
- Provide audio/visual support in spaces where equipment is built into spaces as well as set up mobile A/V equipment for spaces where the equipment is not a part of the room.
- Provide assistance for presenters and presentations needs.
- Provided video recording and/or video and web conference support for events.
- Classroom and conference room maintenance of equipment installed in spaces operated by EdCOMM:
- Ensure that all equipment is operational, check lamp life and filters in projectors, maintain proper cable care, general supplies and neatness in spaces.
- Helpdesk and Administration Support. Under the direction of their manager and in collaboration with others, the employee will be responsible for key customer services, including, but not limited to:
- Technical support for EdCOMM services. Other technical support functions may be required to ensure customer questions and/or requests for service are provided in a timely and knowledgeable manner. This may encompass all of EdCOMM’s services (VCS, video production, streaming, A/V rental, classroom and conference room audio/visual equipment, etc.)
- Administration support for EdCOMM services. The employee may also be asked to attend the front desk, answer the departmental phone, respond to departmental voicemail and/or email, etc. to ensure the operational efficiency of the department.

The Perianesthesia CNA works as a member of an interdisciplinary team at CHH and MPV Perianesthesia units. Provides support to the nursing team for Pre/Post and PACU in Perioperative Services. The CNA assists care providers in the care of patients in the pre/post and post anesthesia care units, by performing simple procedures and treatments and maintaining a safe, clean, efficiently stocked environment. The CNA is expected to float within the Perioperative Division.
