Responsible to triage phone calls and redirect individuals that have reached office in error to the correct department/individual or transfer to the campus operator for assistance.  Responsible for reading and responding to all email sent to the “group email box” throughout the day. Sort & Save emails into the appropriate “folders”.   Schedule Surgical Cases: Responsible for scheduling cases out of work queue.  Responsible for all the scheduling, rescheduling and canceling of surgical and non-surgical cases in and out of OR. Oversee the PSS to ensure that all surgical information received is accurate. All Op Time surgical case submissions are reviewed and errors or missing information is requested from the PSS prior to scheduling a surgical case. Accurately place all OR and OOR cases in the correct case order on a daily basis, making sure that all requirements for a doctor operating in multiple sites are met.

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.   This position reports to (supervisor): Dr. Karan Replogle, Chair of Endodontology   The primary focus of the Head of the Division of Endodontology is to provide leadership for the education of predoctoral and graduate dental students in Endodontology.  This faculty member will serve a dual role as the Program Director for the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics, providing direct oversight and direction for the specialty program. The Division Head collaborates with the Department Chair, the Senior Associate Deans for Academic and Clinical Systems in the development and implementation of curriculum, operation and oversight of the Graduate Endodontic Practice, and management of Division and Program budgets. The Head leads in process improvement and ensures compliance to the policies and procedures of the School of Dentistry (SOD), Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA), and the Northwest Commission of Colleges and University (NWCCU).  The Head collaborates with the Dean of the SOD and the OHSU Foundation to manage and grow alumni philanthropy. This position directly supervises faculty in the Predoctoral and Advanced Education Program, full-time and part-time.  The position is supported by an Administrative Coordinator. This faculty member is expected to conduct research, participate in research, and oversee and mentor research of the Advanced Education students in Endodontics.  The faculty member will teach in the Predoctoral and Graduate Endodontic curriculum. The faculty member is eligible to practice endodontic privately in the OHSU SOD Faculty Practice. - Work on research experiments relating to the Cell Fusion project or Stem Cell investigations as assigned by Dr. Melissa Wong. These studies will include a variety of technical approaches including: cell culture, live-cell imaging, FACS and characterization of cell phenotypes, as well as murine intestinal stem cell analyses in tissue or cell culture. - Sample collection and processing. Interaction with clinical staff to facilitate identification and collection of samples. Possible consenting of patients onto IRB approved protocol. - Perform data analyses and entry and maintain data files on research projects utilizing various platforms (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, RedCap, caTissue, ClinPortal, and others). - Mouse husbandry and experimentation. - Immunohistochemical analyses, cell culture. - General Lab maintenance, including preparation of buffers and stocks, cleaning and organizing dishware, and racking and autoclaving tips/tubes. - Attendance at all laboratory research and division/department meetings. The schedule will be full time, including evenings and weekends as needed for experiments. Exposure as part of this position may include toxic chemicals and drugs, human tissues and fluids, and small animal work (mice) including tissue preparation, depending on the experiments performed.

We are seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct research in areas of tumor immunology and tumor microenvironment, identifying cells and their mediators, and epigenetic mediators of inflammation that critically regulate cancer development. Specific projects will be determined by the applicant’s skill set and articulated research interests. Experience in immunology, ex vivo tissue culture-based assays, and mouse models of cancer are a requisite.   The Postdoctoral Fellow will be the primary strategist in scientific aspects of the assigned project, and in that regard may participate in supervision of some activities of research assistants, frequently taking responsibility for expensive equipment and experiment design. The Senior staff biostatistician will provide biostatistics and study design support to faculty and staff in the Department of Anesthesiology in the OHSU School of Medicine, supporting their research portfolio, which includes basic science projects and clinical trials.  General responsibilities include providing study design and methodology guidance, as well data management, programming and statistical analysis activities for internal and external reports, manuscripts and other publications. Statistical activities related to grant preparation, including power and sample size calculations/simulation, will be required. This position involves significant interaction with principal investigators and their staff, requiring excellent and effective oral and written communication skills.  For example, the incumbent should be able to explain complex statistical concepts and results to biomedical researchers with little statistical training.
