The APP will be expected to have a strong commitment to developing the practice into a vibrant clinical and academic operation, which is successful from both a professional and business point of view. • Clinical. The candidate is expected to have proficiency in abdominal wall reconstruction, complex hernia repair, fistulas, and have experience with advanced endoscopic therapies. Interest in nutritional studies a plus. The Division Head of General Surgery will assign the clinical schedule. Typical clinical responsibilities include 1-2 days in clinic and scheduled OR time throughout the week and can include occasional weekends. This position will also be expected to take call, as assigned, with other faculty on nights, weekends, and holidays. The Picker Lab is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a growing research group focused on immunology, virology and HIV cure research using the NHP model.
