$2,500 hiring bonus for full time positions*   As a Medical Assistant, you will provide a full range of support as part of the medical care team. Your primary duties in this position are: rooming, collecting patient vital signs, point of care testing, documentation in the electronic medical record (EHR), maintaining clinic flow, stocking exam rooms, assisting with procedures and treatments, and communicating with efficiency and diplomacy.  

Provides Safety Compliance Services: - Receives phone calls and e-mails responds or directs request to the appropriate individual or department  - Reviews new and existing workforce member information to identify appropriate risk categories, based on job responsibilities and OHSU’s policy on “Required Communicable Disease Screening, Testing, Immunizations and Training” policy - Administer Immunizations - Places and reads tuberculin skin tests (TST) - Performs N-95 respirator (mask) fit testing - Performs color vision screening when required for an individual’s job - Collects laboratory specimens to check immunity status, as needed, or in follow-up to a suspected...
