Provide ongoing education, orientation, competency validation, and clinical guidance for the respiratory staff. Coordinate and develop programs to successfully transition new staff into the various work units within the adult and pediatric hospitals.  Develop, implement, and update annual competency validation programs.  Assure that all organizational, hospital, and unit-based competency and required continuing education needs are met.
