This position is under the administration of the Director of the IDD and the supervision of the Clinical Director of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC) clinical programs. Clinical: 100% of time will be spent clinically as a Cardio-oncologist, working collaboratively with the Knight Cancer Institute. Duties will include medical management of cancer patients with chronic or acute heart disease, managing critically ill patients with primary cardiac disorders in an ambulatory setting. The Generalist division provides both inpatient and outpatient care to high-risk patients at OHSU and relatively low-risk, community practice patients at Hillsboro Medical Center, an affiliated facility located 30 minutes west of OHSU, ensuring an ideal patient mix. While all faculty are required to maintain privileges at both sites, Generalists will primarily be assigned to one location. This position provides primary clinical care in the Center for Women’s Health primary care clinic. This position works with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary care to women, both adult and adolescent. This care may expand to male patients. This faculty member is expected to provide an outstanding level of clinical performance.
