As a TI Senior Clinical Research Assistant, this individual is responsible for clinical, administrative, regulatory, and educational research activities related to the management of patients on clinical trials within the Pediatric Clinical Research Office (PCRO) in the Department of Pediatrics. Primary duties include: coordinating multiple clinical research studies; consenting and enrolling patients, gathering data, regulatory tasks, data entry, gathering source documents, basic sample processing and shipping. This position is for an AAC user who experiences disability to participate and guide projects with the UCEDD for the AAC Peer Support Project, as well as support for other UCEDD education and community research activities, especially related to AAC. Clinical duties will primarily consist of operating as part of an inpatient medicine care team to include admitting, managing, and discharging patients, performing medical consultation, and engaging in co-management with other specialties. This position includes a mix of mostly day shifts with some swing admitting shifts, night shifts and flex shifts. There may be opportunities to engage in teaching residents. The OHSU School of Dentistry is looking for a registered Dental Hygienist for the OHSU Dental Clinics and at the OHSU Russell Street Dental Clinic in North Portland. The Dental Hygienist, under the supervision of a licensed dentist, trains patients in dental hygiene and renders preventive and therapeutic oral prophylaxis. Some employees in this class provide chair side dental assistance and, if licensed for expanded functions, may take patient x-rays and administer local anesthetic agents.
