The OHSU Complex Valve Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the comprehensive specialized care for patients with advanced cardiac valvular disease in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. These patients are candidates for percutaneous valve intervention however may ultimately undergo this procedure, an open valve replacement or opt for a treatment regimen that optimizes medical management. In this position, the Coordinator will collaborate in the development, implementation and maintenance of all aspects of care for patients undergoing a percutaneous valve procedure in collaborations with the multi-disciplinary care team.
Layton Center clinical trials team Clinical Research Coordinators (TI Clinical Research Assistant 2) are highly organized and are responsible for duties related to the implementation of human subject research protocols. Clinical Research Coordinators must effectively and professionally communicate (verbally including by phone and video call as well as in writing) within the Layton Center clinical trials team, with many other departments at OHSU, with study sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs), with vendors, and with study participants/volunteers.
