The duties of this position include: The appointee shall provide educational services in the Dental Student Gross Anatomy (DSGA) course (AN 711) as assigned by the Course Director. The successful candidate will be part of a team of anatomy educators who provide instruction in gross anatomy and will contribute to teaching in the DSGA dissection laboratory, a state-of-the-art anatomical dissection and surgical simulation laboratory.   Teaching duties will primarily include attendance at all lectures and participation in all labs to facilitate student learning from dissections by answering procedural, anatomical, and clinical questions in accordance with candidate¿s knowledge and experience.

The LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and other Related Disabilities) program at Oregon Health & Science University provides training in disability, leadership and advocacy skills to individuals with lived experience (self-advocates), along with family members and healthcare professionals. This interdisciplinary training experience focuses on improving health care for children with developmental disabilities and their families.
