The General GI Care Coordinator is a member of a multi-disciplinary team with primary responsibility for direct and indirect professional nursing care of medicine patients that have complex gastrointestinal diseases.  The patients managed by this team are medically complex with functional GI disorders and nutritional deficiencies requiring supplemental nutrition, including total parental nutrition. Other complex and chronic GI diseases, requiring long term, longitudinal care from their gastroenterologist comprise much of this patient population.   - - Responsibilities include the care coordination and case management of individuals in the outpatient clinic. - S/he will provide clinical support services to faculty and APP in the Gastroenterology Division. - The nurse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating comprehensive care for patients and will be a key contributor to ensuring that patients are guided through all stages of their treatment at OHSU. - The clinical director of the division of pediatric orthopedics, and Doernbecher Surgeon-in-Chief will work with you to develop your clinical and operative schedule. Your duties will include inpatient, outpatient and surgical service activities for general orthopedic surgical services at Doernbecher Childrens Hospital, with a specialty focus in your area of interest as agreed with the Department Chair and Doernbecher Surgeon-in-Chief. Experience and interest in all aspect of pediatric orthopedic surgery, with or without an interest in spine is accepted and appreciated. Call: This position will be expected to take call as assigned with other faculty on nights, weekends, and holidays. - Education. As OHSU is a teaching facility, instruction of medical students and residents in the clinical setting as well as through assigned lectures is required. Teaching assignments will be given from the Director of Education for the Department of Orthopedics. - Research. There are resources available for start-up research and on-going support. - Administration. Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on needs within the Department of Orthopedics and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and areas of expertise and interest. There will be opportunities to participate in departmental management and to serve on hospital/institutional committees.

Clinical Activities: Practice that emanates from the School of Nursing is expected to support the teaching and research missions of the School. In the practice environment, teaching occurs concurrently with clinical activities.   Specific duties include: Provide supplementary coverage of labor and delivery call when the permanent faculty are ill, in retreat, traveling professionally, on vacation or on leave. The primary expectation is the provision of clinical midwifery services to patients in the faculty practice during both day and night shifts.   Scholarly Activities: Development of a program of research is an expectation of this position.   Education Activities: Teaching graduate nursing students in the Nurse Midwifery programs. This includes teaching and leadership in program and curriculum development and advising and mentoring of students.   Service Activities: These activities include faculty meetings, committee membership, professional activities and other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Associate Dean or Program Director.   Administrative Activities: None.    Other Activities: The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.

The Clinical data engineer role is part of the clinical data team, part of a larger clinical business intelligence unit (CLBI) comprising analysts, engineers, administrators, and architects.  This position is responsible for creating new clinical data warehousing solutions, data transformations, and data integration assets, as well as supporting changes, enhancements, and maintenance of existing assets in support of OHSU clinical data initiatives. Primary duties will include, but are not limited to: - ETL analysis, design, and development - Source-to-target mapping - Peer review - Data validation and solution testing - DevOps and Code version control - Metadata documentation - Production implementation and support You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, data architects, and IT specialists, to develop robust data pipelines, implement data quality controls, and generate insights to support clinical decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both data engineering and analytics, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems and clinical data standards.   This position will be developing primarily in the Epic Caboodle Console and Microsoft SQL Server tools. However, duties may extend to IBM DataStage, Azure Data Factory, and various business intelligence tools. Azure DevOps will be used for version control, code management, and code deployment. The School of Dentistry (SOD) Patient Access Service (PAS) Specialist provides courteous and comprehensive administrative support services for patients, students,faculty, staff, and visitors at the OHSU Dental Clinics in the School of Dentistry. These duties include but are not limited to answering phones, patient registration, insurance verification, collection of payments, balancing cash drawer, answering billing questions, and other administrative tasks as assigned that support all of OHSU Dental Clinics. The SOD PAS Specialist must be able to consistently perform all the functions of the job in order to maintain excellent and comprehensive service for all the patients, students, faculty and staff.   The SOD PAS Specialist works in a high public contact area dealing with patients and staff in a positive and consistent manner. Each employee must interact with the patients, some in acute dental pain, in a friendly, knowledgable, and appropriate manner.   The SOD PAS Specialist are responsible for knowing SOD clinic policies including but not limited to appointment scheduling, payments, and insurance, and must be able to communicate these policies with patients, students, facutly, and staff.  Each OHSU Dental Clinic at the SOD may have different policies specific to their department, and the SOD PAS Specialist will be required to use their judgement to implement the appropriate policy or give information specific to each situation they encounter.   The SOD PAS Specialist may be deployed to different desks, floors, or work stations throughout each day to cover areas at peak times.  The SOD PAS Specialist must be flexible and be able to complete work with considerable independence on a daily basis. The SOD PAS also provide support to the Russell Street Clinic and could be deployed to work at that clinic depending on business needs.   This position requires the employee to be Bilingual to provide language interpretation to patients.
